Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly sold Romelu Lukaku to Inter this summer due to being overweight.
The Belgian striker played standard under the orders of Jose Mourinho who was sacked in December last year, but with the arrival of the Norwegian he stood more on the bench.
The 26-year-old was familiar with the circumstances going on at the club, so he decided to pursue a move to Serie A to join Antonio Contes’ Inter later.
According to SunSport, Solskjaer decided to sell Lukaku within this deadline, because he was overweight and failed to meet his requirements.
The Norwegian coach reportedly told the players to be in shape during pre-season training sessions, but the Belgian seemed to be overfeeding.
On the other hand, Lukaku has said he left at Old Trafford after no one had backed the team and no one came out in his defense in connection with the rumors that took place in four weeks.
